Militant March for the win...Alcoholic April somehow also for the win!

March turned out to be good month and I managed to put in 70 hours at the tables. I made $6588 profit for the month all at $1/$2 and I was running at a respectable 11.5 bb/100. My non-drinking in March was certainly beneficial, I would go on a night out and then get in sober late on a weekend night and grind a few hours while the games were good, very profitable.

April has been a different story. It's the last day of the month and I have played a poor 44 hours. I finished $5925 up for the month running at 9.5 bb/100. It has been a successful month but it could have been something fantastic. It was my birthday at the start of the month and I had to celebrate turning 25, but the celebrations continued and poker took a back seat while I got double boozy. I did however start to take a few shots at $2/$4 and they went very well. I made about half my monthly profit at $2/$4 which was a nice bonus.

After a stern word from my mentor and online legend 'Big balls' I now have big plans for May. I want to play 100 hours, therefore I will aim to play 5 hours a day. I will be putting a rough day plan in order, I have never set hours because that doesn't work for me but I want to get back to how I was in March. I am setting a target of 100 hours and I don't set profit goals but I do have my eye on my first $10,000 month, one time please! I'm gonna hit the gym hard and and drink a maximum of once p/week. Also I might have a bash at the Nottingham UKIPT so if anyone wants a piece of my action if I play then I will be selling so let me know :-)
